Guest speaker for Thursday’s noon meeting of the Minden Lions Club will be Lion Tracy Campbell. Lion Tracy will provide an economic outlook for 2024 as well as important financial updates and information.
In 2021, Lion Tracy joined the team at Meriwether Wealth and Planning as director of client engagement following seven years in the banking industry. He also brings with him a diverse background in areas such as journalism, marketing, adult education, and information technology. One of Lion Tracy’s desires is to help others achieve their financial goals, and he loves to share his personal testimony about why that’s important to him. He is a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University coordinator and frequently gives public presentations on budgeting, savings, avoiding scams, and the importance of planning for your financial future.
Lion Tracy is currently a partner and licensed Investment Advisor Representative at Meriwether. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, a master’s degree in adult education, and a graduate certificate in information assurance. Currently, Lion Tracy is taking courses for his Certified Financial Planner® designation. He is a past graduate of the Louisiana Bankers Association Leadership School, and a “15 Under 40” Top Young Professional recipient. Lion Tracy places high value on giving back through service and has held leadership positions on numerous local boards, including the Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Commission, Consortium of Minden, Cultural Crossroads, and the Minden Lions Club. He serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church – Minden.
A native of Springhill, Lion Tracy has been married to his high-school sweetheart, Jennifer, for almost 25 years. They have two children, Colin (LA Tech freshman) and Lily (eighth grade), and have made their home in Minden. Lion Tracy enjoys supporting his children’s various activities, kayaking local waterways, and collecting vintage advertising pieces and signage. Lion Tracy will be introduced Thursday by Lion Paul Kitchens.
