UCAP Charity Golf Tournament raises funds for local assistance programs

The 2025 UCAP Charity Golf Tournament was held June 21-22 at Pine Hills Country Club, supporting one of the United Christian Assistance Program’s two largest annual fundraising events.

The tournament, played in a two-man scramble format, benefits UCAP, a local nonprofit that offers food, rent and utility assistance, clothing, and emergency aid to individuals and families in need. UCAP operates entirely on donations and has served more than 25,000 people since its founding.

The golf tournament and UCAP’s Hungerfest are the organization’s primary sources of funding.

This year’s tournament included multiple flights of competition. Winners are as follows:

1st: Scaggs and Scaggs

3rd: Irby and Clanton

4th Flight
1st: Carruth and Smith
2nd: Bellamy and Bellamy
3rd: Branch and Odom

Proceeds from the tournament will help UCAP continue its mission of serving those in crisis within the Minden community.
