Webster Parish mourns the loss of Sibley Mayor Jimmy Williams

The Minden Press-Herald regrets to report the passing of Sibley Mayor Jimmy Williams. Mayor Williams, a revered figure in the community, has left a lasting impact as a devoted Christian, coach, businessman, and community leader.

Williams’ influence extended beyond his role as mayor, touching the lives of many with his unwavering commitment to both his faith and community. Known for his leadership and dedication, he served as a pillar of strength for residents of Sibley.

The Minden Press-Herald extends heartfelt condolences to Mayor Jimmy Williams’ family, friends, and the entire Sibley community during this difficult time. The void left by his passing will be deeply felt, and his legacy will undoubtedly endure in the hearts of those he touched.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Minden at 1 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2024. Pastor Keith Mariott will perform the service, with burial following at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24 starting at 5 PM at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
