by Minden Press-Herald

Seth Miller, a biologist with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, will be the guest speaker at the Minden Lions Club’s noon meeting on Thursday. Miller will discuss the upcoming National Hunting and Fishing Day event, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Bodcau – Tom Merrill Recreation Area.

A Louisiana Tech University graduate with a degree in wildlife conservation, Miller has worked with the department for 17 years. He began his career with a brief stint on a South Texas ranch before returning to Louisiana.

Miller resides in Homer with his wife and son, where they serve at Calvary Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoys duck hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Lion Dr. Richard Campbell will introduce Miller at Thursday’s meeting at the American Legion Memorial Hall, located at 119 W. Pine Street in Minden.
