The Minden Lions Club will hear firsthand “170 years of Wren Family History in Claiborne and Webster Parishes” provided by Marcus Wren II.

Wren, a lifelong resident of Minden and Webster Parish, will be sharing an informative presentation regarding his family’s prominent role in the history of our area-which is quickly approaching two centuries.

Marcus Wren II, who turns 93 in January, has long been a positive influence in the life of his family, his church and his community.

Wren is an entrepreneur- visionary- true American patriot and a man of deep faith.

Wren’s presentation promises to be one of the best programs of 2016.

The Minden Lions Club meets at noon on Thursdays at the American Legion Hall, located at 119 Pine St.
