Glenbrook routes Central School once again, 19-0

by Minden Press-Herald

If every game could be against Central School, Glenbrook would certainly be in good shape this season.

For the second time this season and in as many games, the Glenbrook Lady Apaches routed Central School. The Lady Apaches got a, literally, flawless performance from their pitching duo of Alyssa Martin and Hannah Mosley (3 K’s each, no walks, no hits, no runs) and the bats were red-hot as Glenbrook rolled 19-0.

“The girls did a great job of staying focused and handling their business,” head coach Roo Johnson said. “I love the depth we have on this team in the batters box, on the field and especially on the mound; Martin and Mosley work great together.”

Martin led the way at the plate for Glenbrook, finishing 2-3 with a triple and double to accompany her 5-RBI’s for the game. Faith Earnhardt went 2-3 with a double and single for the Lady Apaches, followed by Mosley who ended her night 3-3 with three singles and an RBI.

Megan Sims and Kara Bryce each contributed a double and 2 RBI’s for Glenbrook, Kate Marvin and Emma Earnhardt each doubled and drove in one run and Sarah Margaret Mosley and Emma Dauzat each had RBI singles. Aubrie Dickson drove in one run for Glenbrook.

The Lady Apaches travel to Bastrop this weekend for the Prairie View Academy Tournament beginning Saturday.
