The Minden Press-Herald is Webster Parish's only locally owned newspaper — and one of Louisiana's oldest continuous journalism traditions. Our roots trace to the Minden Iris, published as early as 1848, six years before Minden was even incorporated as a city.
For more than 175 years, through name changes, mergers, and the evolution of an entire industry, this paper has remained what it was always meant to be: a trusted voice for the people of Webster Parish.
Today, the Press-Herald publishes every Wednesday in print and delivers news daily online at press-herald.com.
