Plenty of action from this week’s city league games

There were four games played over the course of Monday and Tuesday night at the Minden Recreation Complex.

Titans vs. Mohawks

Eddie Markray led the Titans with 190 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-13 win over the Mohawks.

Jamontez Ridley had 23 yards and a score for the Titans, Kataurio Grigsby had 85 and a touchdown and Trenton McLaughlin added 62 yards.
Ja’Colby Snell had the big game for the Mohawks totaling 141 yards and a score, while Nathan Bell added 89 yards and a touchdown, Evan Thomas had seven yards and Jakob Walker scored an extra point.

Lil’ Tiders vs. Patillo Punishers

The Lil’ Tiders won a shootout contest with the Patillo Punishers, 26-25.

Leading the way for the Lil’ Tiders was Justin Richardson with 146 yards and three total touchdowns. Je’Dyah Taylor ran for 70 yards and an extra point, Cartez Alexander Jr. had 29 yards and a score and Tristen Murry had 11 yards.

For the Marcus Patillo Punishers, Aldravion Taylor had a big game rushing for 104 yards and three touchdowns. Kevin Ward had 110 yards of his own, Travion Sanders had 87 yards and a score and Shamar Crow had 17 tough yards.

Little Tiders vs. Saints

Jamaria Clark was clutch for the Little Tiders in this game, helping them roll to a 12-6 victory over the Saints.

Clark had 141 yards and two touchdowns for the Little Tiders and next up was Brennan Benton with 53 yards rushing.

Jordan Coleman led the way for the Saints with 55 yards and a touchdown. Cade Boley totaled 53 yards for the Saints, Jacob Whitehead had 25 yards and Cameron Mitchell had four yards.

Cooper Tire Cobras vs. Acuren Rays

The Cooper Tire Cobras got the best of the Acuren Rays, 14-0.

Jaylin Williams had 45 yards and a touchdown for the Cobras and Dexter Smith had 44 yards and a score as well. Daylen Robinson had 34 yards and an extra point run to round out the Cobras scoring.

The Acuren Rays were led offensively by Tyrell Siah and his 25 yards rushing. Luke Vining had five yards of his own to round out the Rays offense.
