CULLEN — Firefighters continue to monitor the blaze that erupted at a warehouse in Cullen around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Nearly 200 firefighters from seven fire departments throughout north Webster Parish responded to the initial call, Cullen Fire Chief Tommy “Flash” Arnold told KSLA-TV.

Crews monitored the building off U.S. Highway 371 overnight in hopes that the massive fire eventually will burn itself out.

The building was reportedly being used as a storage building. No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
