Kevin B. Hubbard, 32, of the 600 block of Porterville Road, was arrested Sunday, Dec. 6, and charged with domestic abuse battery. Bond was set at $5,000.

When Deputy George Salsberry and Lt. Ken Sivils arrived on scene, they made contact with a female victim, who reportedly told police the two had gotten into an argument about his job. Deputies report she told them “he got in her face” and she pushed him.

According to the police report, the victim told deputies Hubbard grabbed her by the hair, punched her in the eye and slammed her to the floor.

Hubbard then left the residence and returned before authorities left the scene. Hubbard was then placed under arrest and charged with domestic abuse battery and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
