Lady Apaches staying home for South State Tourney

by Minden Press-Herald

Following a highly-successful regular season, the Glenbrook Lady Apaches enter the MAIS Class AA playoffs as district 6AA’s No. 3 seed.
The Lady Apaches will be at home for the South State Tournament as Glenbrook will host for the first time since 2006.

While the Glenbrook boys missed out on a chance to be in the tournament – thanks to coming out on the wrong end of a three-way tiebreaker – the Lady Apaches should give Glenbrook fans plenty to cheer about when they take on Franklin Academy, Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.

The Lady Apaches wrapped up the regular season with a 22-3 record, with two of those losses coming to Claiborne Academy.
Glenbrook and Claiborne will likely meet again, assuming both teams win their first round matchup.
