The 2026 Minden St. Jude Auction raised a record-breaking $2,718,301 in its 51st year of supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

The four-day event drew participation from across the community and beyond, with organizers noting continued national and international engagement. Among the major prizes awarded, Destry Johns won the $20,000 cash prize. Partner in Hope winners included Cliff Ann Younker, who received $5,000 cash; Ainsley Nelson, who won a trip for four; and Michael Covington, who received a television package.

The grand prize — a choice between $50,000 cash or a GMC Yukon — was won by Brandon Gaston, an employee of Aeropres.

Organizers also announced the receipt of an anonymous $400,000 donation, the second-largest individual gift in the auction’s history.

Auction organizer Laura Hollingsworth closed the event by thanking the community and supporters, encouraging everyone to return next year as fundraising efforts begin again almost immediately.
