Possession dates are special days by which you must own your animal. You must prove that you own and possess your animal before those dates to your 4-H Livestock Agent.
If you get your animal after these dates, you will not be allowed to show the animal in the Claiborne Parish Fair, Webster Parish Fair, or the State Fair of Louisiana.
