Families, friends, and neighbors gathered Thursday evening, July 17, at Miller Quarters Park for another well-attended installment of Bites & Beats, a community event that continues to gain popularity in Minden.
With a strong turnout, the evening offered a chance for attendees to dine at an assortment of food trucks and enjoy live music while connecting with old friends and spending quality time with loved ones. The event featured a performance by The Lovers, an Indie-Americana pop duo whose sound filled the park and set the tone for the laid-back summer evening.

Children and adults alike took part in the Foamtabulous Foam Party, which produced head-high drifts of foam for participants to run, jump, and play in. The foam-covered lawn quickly became a highlight for the younger crowd.
Bites & Beats is held at Miller Quarters Park and continues to serve as a regular gathering spot for the Minden community. The event will take place on the third Thursday of each month through October. Admission is free, and residents are encouraged to bring the whole family for an evening of food, entertainment, and connection.
