A seminar titled “How to Fund Your Business” was held Friday, July 18, at the Greater Minden Chamber, offering local entrepreneurs a chance to learn how to secure funding and grow their businesses.
Several members of the public attended the event, which was part of the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), a division of BRF. According to EAP, the program offers intensive startup support to help turn ideas and existing businesses into thriving companies through mentorship and practical business guidance.
This free series, running through August 2025, is aimed at equipping business owners with tools to navigate the funding landscape, from private investment to loan opportunities. Topics covered in the workshop included building a Lean Canvas business model, identifying funding sources, developing financial models, and preparing pitch decks to attract potential investors and partners.
