b1BANK presented a $25,000 check to the United Christian Assistance Program (UCAP) on August 8 at the bank’s Minden location.
The donation represents proceeds from the b1BANK Charity Golf Tournament, held June 21-22 at Pine Hills Country Club in Minden. The two-man scramble event was organized to benefit UCAP’s mission of assisting residents in south Webster Parish.
UCAP is a nonprofit, non-denominational cooperative effort of Christian churches in the Minden area. The organization provides emergency food, overnight shelter, rent and utility assistance, clothing, and aid to stranded travelers and financially distressed families. UCAP also helps families impacted by natural disasters or home fires.
