The Minden Junior Service League’s annual Girls Night Out fundraiser, themed “Havana Nights,” was held Saturday, August 23, at the Minden Civic Center before a sold-out crowd.
The event featured Cuban-inspired décor, themed photo booths, food, shopping, and live entertainment, creating a lively atmosphere for attendees while raising money for scholarships and community programs.
“This event is such a special reminder of what can happen when our community comes together,” said JSL President Samantha Kramer. “Every dollar raised goes right back into the futures of our local seniors, and that’s something we can all be proud of. None of it would be possible without the heart, hard work, and countless hours our event chairs, Abigail Blachier and Baileigh Williams, and Junior Service League ladies put in! We couldn’t be more proud of the impact this event will have.”
Funds from Girls Night Out support the Junior Service League’s scholarship program and outreach projects throughout the year.
