The 17th Annual Car & Bike Show, The Original Vintage Car Club Show & Shine, filled historic downtown Minden with gleaming chrome, roaring engines, and family fun on Saturday, September 13.
Sponsored by Webster Parish Tourism and Minden Main Street, the show drew entries from across the Ark-La-Tex, featuring antique cars, muscle machines, Corvettes, Mustangs, trucks, motorcycles, and more. The freshly resurfaced downtown parking lot provided the stage for one of the largest trophy presentations in the region.
A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, UCAP, and the NWLA Sickle Cell Association.
The coveted Best of Show award went to Putt Putman for his 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible. The People’s Choice Award was presented to Theodore Washington for his 2016 Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible.
