Minden Makers Fair set for Saturday at The Farm

by Amber McDown

The annual Minden Makers Fair returns to The Farm of Cultural Crossroads this Saturday, bringing a full day of art, music, and family-friendly fun.

The event will take place November 1 from 11 AM to 4 PM at The Farm, located at 419 East Union Street. Admission is free and open to the public.

This year’s fair will feature more than 50 makers, bakers, and artisans from across the tri-state area, offering handmade goods, art, and local products. Live demonstrations will include pottery throwing, glass blowing, and blacksmithing, giving visitors an up-close look at creative craftsmanship.

Organizers are also encouraging attendees to keep the Halloween spirit going by wearing costumes. Each vendor will have candy available for children to enjoy while parents shop.

Hosted by Cultural Crossroads, the Minden Makers Fair is the nonprofit organization’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds help support programs such as Art at the Farm and other community arts initiatives.
