Funeral services celebrating the life of Sara Ann Nelson Ramsey will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin, Louisiana with Bro. Scott Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Sara was born October 22, 1934, in Heflin, Louisiana and left this earthly life for her heavenly home on October 28, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey A. Ramsey, parents, June and Annie Nelson, and siblings, Donnie Nelson, Bennie Nelson, Joe Nelson, and Bobbie Womack.
She is survived by her sons, Michael H. Ramsey (Janis) of Homer, Steve Ramsey(Connie) of Heflin, and John T. Ramsey (Sally) of Heflin, grandchildren Stephanie, Leslie (Brian), Chris (Crystal), Jeff (Julie), Heath (Erin), Cori (Gracie), Timothy (Makayla), and Heather, great-grandchildren, Tiffany (Raylee), Blake, Samantha, Sophie, Carmen, Nicole, Tony, Brennon, Olivia, Aubrey, Carson, Jude, Asher, Addi, Austin, Alannah, Camden, Haley, Landen, and Great great-grandchildren, Elijah, Ryleigh, Noah, Corbyn, Selana, J.T., J.J., John, special family members Cathy, Lois Ann, Cindy, Nena, Amanda, and April and a special friend, Barbaraand numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Warren, Greg Warren, Joey Vincent, Timothy Ramsey, Cory Ramsey, and Landon Bellard.
