Central Elementary hosted its Grand Friends Day breakfast on November 19, welcoming parents and grandparents to campus for a morning event held in coordination with the school’s book fair.
The annual gathering is open to all pre-K through fifth grade students and is designed to promote engagement and literacy by pairing the breakfast with the book fair. Attendance was strong, with families lining up early at the gymnasium where the breakfast was held.
Students visited with their guests before heading to the book fair, where a long line formed as children selected books to take home. Students appeared enthusiastic about sharing the school day with their families.
The event is part of the school’s ongoing efforts to encourage reading and family engagement throughout the academic year.
