Top officers with the Minden Police Department volunteered to call bingo at the Webster Council on Aging on Thursday, February 12, bringing Valentine’s Day-inspired gifts and prizes for seniors.
The event was held at the Council on Aging, 1482 Sheppard Street, where department leadership, including the chief,deputy chiefs, and department heads, spent time calling numbers and awarding prizes.
The Webster Council on Aging provides services and meals for residents 60 and older. Officials said the organization welcomes individuals and groups to volunteer to call bingo during the week.
