22 Hands Up to host youth etiquette workshop at Minden library

by Amber McDown

Nonprofit 22 Hands Up will sponsor a free Youth Etiquette and Class workshop on Saturday, May 23, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Minden branch of Webster Parish Libraries, 521 East and West Street.

The workshop is open to youth ages 10-18 and will focus on teaching proper etiquette, respectful behavior, communication skills, and confidence. Participants will also learn practical, real-world life skills and how to present themselves with professionalism.

Instructors for the event include Jean Cotton Davis, Kalen Little, and Stephanie Williams.

Space is limited to 25 participants so early registration is encouraged.

The event is part of 22 Hands Up’s ongoing efforts to provide educational and developmental opportunities for youth in Webster, Claiborne, and Bienville parishes. The nonprofit offers programs centered on mentorship, financial literacy, leadership development, and overall wellness, with an emphasis on preparing young people for success in school and beyond.

To register for the workshop, contact Brian Shanklin at (318) 990-6136.
