The Lakeside Lady Warriors, Doyline Lady Panthers and North Webster Lady Knights posted victories Tuesday.
Lakeside defeated Choudrant 5-2 at Lakeside, Doyline downed Ringgold 12-2 at Doyline and North Webster routed Plain Dealing 18-3 at Plain Dealing.
In a battle of district champions, 1-1A champion Glenbrook fell to 1-5A champion Natchitoches Central 7-3 at Glenbrook. Minden dropped a tough 16-15 decision to Caddo Magnet in Shreveport.
At Lakeside, Ella Wood allowed four hits, struck out eight and walked one.
Emily Jones went 2-for-2 with a double. Raleah Harris went 2-for-4 with a triple. Rhea Waller had a double and two RBI.
Lakeside (16-9) visits Evangel Christian Thursday at 6. Choudrant dropped to 9-16.
At Doyline, Sariyah Gill and Karmadie Bartlett combined on a one-hitter in the five-inning game.
Gill struck out four and walked two in 3 1/3 innings. Bartlett allowed no hits or walks in 1 2/3 innings.
Gill also went 3-for-3. Kanyion Bartlett went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Lanie Gates went 2-for-3 with a triple. Raelyn Pease had a double and two RBI.
Doyline (11-4) hosts Minden Wednesday at 5. Ringgold dropped to 6-11.
At Plain Dealing, Ella Campbell went 3-for-3 with a double and five RBI in the four-inning game. Jacklyn Beaty went 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Layla Demoss went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Laken Schildroth and Heavyn Gates both went 2-for-3. Emma Newsom and Khloe Dinkins had two RBI each.
Newsom scattered four hits, struck out four and walked three.
North Webster (4-14) visits Haynesville Thursday at 5. Plain Dealing dropped to 14-6.
At Glenbrook, the Lady Apaches led 2-0 through five innings. Natchitoches Central scored five in the sixth and two in the seventh.
Glenbrook had eight hits. Gracie Heard went 3-for-4 with a double.
Glenbrook (20-4), which entered the game No. 2 in the select Division IV power rankings, visits Parkway Thursday at 6. Natchitoches Central, which entered the game No. 7 in the non-select Division I rankings, improved to 23-6.
At Caddo Magnet, the Lady Mustangs scored four in the sixth to take a 16-13 lead. Minden rallied in the seventh with two runs but couldn’t complete the comeback.
The Lady Tiders (9-11) had 14 hits. Kylie Ferguson went 4-for-5 with two triples and three RBI. Nola Lange went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI.
Audrey Frye had two doubles. Kaelyn Williams had two hits. Lizzie Balkom, Lindsay Ryan and Tatum Oliver had one double apiece. Ryan had two RBI.
Caddo Magnet improved to 11-12.
