The Lakeside Warriors and Doyline Panthers won Tuesday.
Lakeside defeated Winnfield 2-1 in the first of a two-game District 3-2A series at Winnfield. Doyline downed Bossier 17-7 in Bossier City.
At Winnfield, Maddox Vise pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks.
Lakeside broke a 1-1 tie with a run in the top of the seventh. Vise and Eric Jones led off with back-to-back singles. They advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Brock Case. Vise scored on a passed ball.
Lakeside had five hits. Nate Wallace went 2-for-3 with a double. In addition to his hit, Jones walked twice.
Lakeside (11-20, 4-3) and Winnfield (7-20, 3-4) are scheduled to complete the series Thursday at Lakeside at 6.
At Bossier, the Panthers had five hits and took advantage of 16 walks in the five-inning game.
Zack Moseley went 2-for-3 with four RBI. Emory Ransbottom walked four times. Charles Niklas drew three walks.
Dario Galvez allowed one hit, struck out six and walked three in 2 1/3 innings. Taylor Cox allowed two hits, struck out five and walked three in 2 2/3 innings.
Doyline (8-12) hosts Lakeview Monday at 5 in its final regular season game. Bossier dropped to 7-8.
