Karen’s Korner

We are going to have our second Veterans “Meet and Greet,” Tuesday, April 21, beginning at 9:00 am, here at the Webster Parish Council on Aging. We will have coffee, pastries, and donuts.

Members of the Webster Parish Veterans Safety Net Coalition will be present as well.

All Veterans from Webster Parish are invited and welcome!

Our Veterans, who are so important for their sacrifice and service, who have paved the way for our freedom, and who have fought for and maintained the dignity of our country, are greatly appreciated.

At the Webster Parish Council on Aging, we want to assure our Veterans of the following:

To provide a safe and welcoming environment.

To encourage, support, and empower Veterans with knowledge and education.

To promote their dignity, independence, and hope.

To provide a place for a monthly “Meet and Greet”  for the Veterans of Webster Parish. ( 60 and above)

To encourage Veterans to reach out to the Veteran’s Crisis Line or proper resources if they are in need!

We always want to respect and honor our Veterans every chance we have.

God Bless them all!
