The Bienville Parish Library’s Gibsland branch will host a job fair on Friday, April 24, offering local residents an opportunity to connect with area employers.
The event will take place from 9 AM until 2 PM at the library, located at 1141 First Street in Gibsland.
Several employers from Minden are expected to participate, including Brookshire’s, Clements Industries, Fibrebond, and Walmart. Additional vendors from surrounding communities such as Arcadia, Ringgold, and Homer will also be in attendance.
Among those employers are Bienville Lumber Co., Haynes International, and Weyerhaeuser OSB.
Organizers said the event is intended to provide job seekers with access to a variety of employment opportunities across multiple industries.
Those seeking new employment or considering a career change are encouraged to attend.
