Another strong crowd turned out Thursday, July 9, for Bites & Beats at Miller Quarters Park, enjoying an evening of music, food, and family-friendly activities.
DJ Milford Parker provided the evening’s entertainment, keeping the atmosphere lively as attendees gathered with friends and neighbors in downtown Minden.
Children cooled off on a large inflatable water slide and played in the foam blaster area, two attractions that proved popular throughout the evening. Several food trucks were also on hand, offering a variety of food and drinks for visitors.
Bites & Beats continues to provide a monthly opportunity for residents to enjoy live entertainment and fellowship in the park.
The next Bites & Beats is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, and will feature performances by John Gill Jr. and DJ Jazzi Jeff, who will play classic R&B, old-school soul, and funk favorites. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy another evening with family and friends in Miller Quarters Park.
