Under Dawgs is marking five years in business this week with food and drink specials as the locally owned restaurant celebrates a milestone anniversary and thanks the community for its continued support.
The anniversary specials will be offered Tuesday through Thursday. On Tuesday, customers can purchase loaded fries for $5. Wednesday’s special features five traditional wings for $5, with a limit of two orders per customer. On Thursday, the restaurant will offer its Jumbo-tron menu item for $5. Drink specials will also be available during the celebration.
Owner Claudine Thomas said reaching the five-year mark is a significant achievement for the business and credits the community, fellow business owners, and employees for its success.
“We cannot believe it’s been five years! What started as an idea is a thriving business built on passion, perseverance, and the support of our amazing Minden community,” Thomas said.
“It’s also been a collective effort — insight from local restaurants and business owners to suggestions and dedication from our employees. We are so blessed!
“Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.”
Under Dawgs is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM, with the bar remaining open until 10 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant is open from 11 AM to 10 PM, with the bar open until 11 PM.
Thomas said the anniversary celebration is an opportunity to thank customers who have supported the business since it opened and helped it grow over the past five years.
