Road construction began today, September 16, on several Minden streets, with work expected to continue for several weeks.
The City of Minden announced improvements are planned for Clerk Street from Howell Street to Pine Street; Winford Street; Martin Luther King Jr. Drive; Joel Street; Country Club Circle from Drake Drive to Germantown Road; and Sheppard Street from Shreveport Road to East Union Street..
Motorists traveling through the construction areas are asked to slow down, use caution, and watch for equipment and crews working in the roadway.
City officials thanked residents for their patience and cooperation while the improvements are completed.
