Main to Main Trade Days returns Nov. 6-8 across Webster Parish

by Amber McDown

Bargain hunters, antique collectors, and shoppers looking for unique treasures will have plenty of opportunities this weekend as Main to Main Trade Days returns November 6-8, transforming more than 50 miles of Webster Parish into one giant outdoor marketplace.

The annual event, often described as Louisiana’s longest yard sale, stretches from Springhill to Sibley, with vendors and shopping opportunities in Cullen, Sarepta, Cotton Valley, Dixie Inn, and Minden along the way. Organizers anticipate one of the largest events yet, with vendors offering everything from antiques and handmade crafts to furniture, clothing, and collectibles.

For three days, shoppers can explore booths, tents, yard sales, and local businesses throughout the parish, searching for bargains and one-of-a-kind finds. The event has become a fall tradition, attracting visitors from across the region.

Merchandise may include vintage vinyl records, antique furniture, handcrafted quilts, glassware, home décor, children’s toys, boutique clothing, and handmade gifts. Other offerings could include fishing equipment, bicycles, golf clubs, power tools, ATVs, and outdoor gear.

Downtown Minden traditionally becomes a hub of activity during Main to Main, with vendor tents lining the streets and shoppers moving between booths and businesses. The event also coincides with the annual Jambin’ on Main Jambalaya Cookoff, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, adding another attraction for visitors.

Whether searching for antiques, getting an early start on Christmas shopping, or simply enjoying a weekend outing, visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, allow plenty of time to explore, and leave room in their vehicles for purchases.
