The meet and greet dinner Tuesday included instructors who will be working with students during the Art and Soil program, sponsored by Cultural Crossroads of Minden, at The Farm. Above, Andrea Wilkerson will teach children how to ‘upcycle’ salvageable furniture. The Art and Soil program is funded by the ‘Angels of Change’ grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The program will run from March until May. The deadline for ninth and tenth grade students to apply has been extended to Feb. 26.
