Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies reportedly discovered three crack pipes and pills from a search during a traffic stop.

James W. Gardenhire, 54, of Claiborne Avenue in Shreveport, was arrested for no license plate, no insurance, driving under suspension and possession of schedule II narcotics.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Winwood Drive in Sibley after they noted a motorcycle did not have a license plate.

A check of Gardenhire’s license revealed that it was suspended, and deputies conducted a search of his person and his motorcycle. According to the report, the search revealed a white pill, suspected to be hydrocodone, inside a container on a keychain. In Gardenhire’s coat pocket, deputies discovered three suspected crack pipes and another one in the inside coat pocket.

A search of the motorcycle revealed what appeared to be digital scales inside a saddlebag.

Gardenhire was taken into custody and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
