Tough tests for high school football this week

Minden High

The Minden High Crimson Tide moved to 4-2 for the season and 3-0 in district with last week’s 14-7 win over Loyola College Prep. This week the Tide travels to Stonewall for a pivotal district match up with the Griffins of North Desoto. Game time is 7 p.m.

Glenbrook

Glenbrook got its biggest win of the season on Friday over their rivals from Claiborne Academy, 44-18. Now the Apaches will be back home in Apache Stadium to face the Riverfield Academy Raiders. Riverfield is undefeated on the season. Glenbrook is now 4-4.

Lakeside

Lakeside High School fought hard in a 43-36 loss to Red River last week. The Warriors will now hope to rebound versus the Homer High School Pelicans. This week also marks homecoming week for the Warriors and a large crowd is expected.

North Webster

The North Webster Knights are looking to make it four straight wins as they take on the Evangel Christian Eagles. The Knights enter this week’s contest having scored at least 50 points in their last three outings. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Shreveport.
