Haughton 7 – Minden 1

Minden struggled to keep up with Haughton on the road on Tuesday.
The Bucs went ahead with two runs in the first and scattered runs across the next few innings to pick up the win.
Hayden Brown pitched for Minden, going the distance, walking zero batters and striking out nine in an impressive effort.
Brown surrendered just five hits, but timing was everything as those hits turned into Haughton runs.
Minden falls to 2-4 this season.
Riverfield 8 – Glenbrook 5

There were runs in almost every frame as Glenbrook fell to Riverfield after a three-run fifth inning put the icing on the cake.
Jackson Powell started the game for Glenbrook. He allowed three hits and three runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one. DJ Carter, Cooper Chase, and Maddox Mandino each contributed in relief for the Apaches.
Glenbrook had six hits in the game. Peyton Wells and Mandino each collected multiple hits for Glenbrook (4-1).
Lakeside 18 – Logansport 5
The Warriors jumped ahead early, but 12 runs in the final three innings sent Lakeside into victory mode on the road Tuesday at Logansport.
Brian Foster picked up the win for Lakeside. He went six innings and allowed just five runs and three hits.
Foster struck out ten batters as he showed the potential to be an ace for Lakeside this season.
Foster is 3-0 with a 1.30 ERA this season.
Grayson Lamar had three hits and three RBI, and Foster had three RBI of his own to lead the Warriors.
Krystopher Stewart had three hits as well as Lakeside improves to 6-3.
North Webster 6 – Doyline 1
SOFTBALL
Minden 21 – Huntington 4
Levi McKinsey led Minden with three hits, including one home run as the Lady Tiders picked up their second district victory.
Reagan Lee went yard again for the second-straight game, and Gabby Salas picked up the win on the mound for Minden.
The Tiders play next against BTW on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
Lakeside 10 -Choudrant 0
Ella Neilsen and Laney Taylor combined for four hits and four RBI as the Lady Warriors (7-3) cruised to their seventh victory of the season.
Taylor was perfect on the mound again, pitching another complete game shutout.
Taylor allowed just one hit and one walk.
