Our sister was born August 15, 1933 and passed away to her eternal home February 23, 2020, at age 86. She was predeceased by her birth mother Arlene Norris King, her father Geo. D. King, her step-mother Ruby King, son Brad Roper, husband Frank Roper, brothers Shelton, Lyttelton, Ed, and Donnie King. Survived by sisters, Edna Raner, Tina Price, Faye Ferguson, and Debbie Jacques.
She always said if she’d had a middle name it would be Sunshine, which definitely reflected her personality. She generously donated her body to Ochsner Health System for research. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and one very special great-great nephew Max Johnston, who was the joy and light of her life for the last 15 months of her life.
