Funeral services for Dorothy “Dottie” Branch will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Hodge, Louisiana with Rev. Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Hodge, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Dottie was born June 13, 1947, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, and entered into rest October 26, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Ezell.
She is survived by her husband, S. L. Branch of Doyline; sons, Brian Branch (Carrie) of Cotton Valley, Darrell Branch (Pamela) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Jimmy Branch (Linda) of Mena, Arkansas; daughter, Shirley Parker of Doyline; sisters, Marie Stone of Conroe, Texas, Patricia Harrell of Collinston, and Betty Sue Morrow of Jonesboro; brother, George Brown; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
