In the race for Louisiana Governor, Jeff Landry won with 51.56% (547,828) of the vote. 

In the race for Lieutenant Governor, William “Billy” Nungesser won with 65.52% (678,521) of the vote.

In the race for Secretary of State, no candidate won a majority of over 50% of the vote, so the top two candidates who received the most votes will advance to a general election, those being Nancy Landry with 19.34%(197,521) of the vote and “Gwen” Collins-Greenup with 19.25% (196,537) of the vote.

In the race for Attorney General, no candidate won a majority of over 50% of the vote, so the top two candidates who received the most votes will advance to a general election, those being “Liz” Baker Murrill with 45.24% (463,108) of the vote and Lindsey Cheek with 23.41% (239,653) of the vote.

In the race for Treasurer, no candidate won a majority of over 50% of the vote, so the top two candidates who received the most votes will advance to a general election, those being John Fleming with 44.04% (442,665) of the vote and Dustin Granger with 31.98% (321,426) of the vote. 

In the race for State Senator of the 36th Senatorial District, “Adam” Bass won with 62.04% (14,097) of the vote. 

In the race for BESE for District 4, no candidate won a majority of over 50% of the vote, so the top two candidates who received the most votes will advance to a general election, those being Stacey Melerine with 47.01% (55,297) of the vote and Emma Shepard with 30.48% (35,850) of the vote. 

For CA No. 1 (ACT 200, 2023 – HB 311) which prohibits the use of private funds in the administration of elections, 72.57% (734,325) of voters voted yes.

For CA No. 2 (ACT 30, 2023 – SB 63) which provides that the freedom of worship is a fundamental right worthy of the highest protection, 79.20% (805,669) of voters voted yes.

For CA No. 3 (ACT 107, 2023 – HB 47)which dedicates certain payments to be applied to the state retirement system unfunded accrued liability, 56.16% (559,537) of voters voted yes. For CA No. 4 (ACT 48, 2023 – HB 46) which restricts ad valorem tax exemptions for certain nonprofit organizations, 66.00% (661,328) of voters voted yes.
