High school football: Minden, North Webster Glenbrook make playoffs; Knights, Apaches at home in first round

Webster Parish teams have made the playoffs and two will host first-round games.

In non-select Division III, No. 14 seed North Webster (6-5) hosts No. 19 Patterson (3-6). In select Division IV, No. 11 Glenbrook (7-2) hosts No. 22 Sacred Heart (3-7).

Minden, which won it final two games to finish 3-7, got the final spot in non-select Division II. The No. 28 seed Tide will travel to St. Francisville to face No. 5 West Feliciana (8-2).

Minden and North Webster are back in the playoffs after a one-year absence.

Glenbrook reached the quarterfinals last year in its first year of playoff eligibility. The Apaches fell to eventual state champion Ouachita Christian 28-27.
