High school baseball: Minden standout Brody Bower signs with BPCC

Minden standout Brody Bower signed with Bossier Parish Community College Thursday.

Bower is a two-time first-team All-District 1-4A selection at pitcher. He is also an infielder.

Last season, he had an ERA of 3.038 with 56 strikeouts in 53 innings.

Bower also batted .344 with six doubles, one home run and 29 RBI.

BPCC is a member of the NJCAA Division I’s Region IV. Last season, the Cavs went 31-24 last season and made the Region XIV South Tournament.
