The Minden Lady Tiders finished runner-up in the Car Giant of Minden Minded Holiday Classic Saturday.
Minden fell to Arcadia 50-33 in the championship game.
Minden’s Brooklyn Jefferson and Travesti Byrd were named to the All-Tournament team.
Arcadia’s De’Asia Alexander was named MVP. Her teammates JaKyra Cockerham and Ryhanna Abney were also named to the All-Tournament team along with Homer’s Shaniya Webb.
Calvary Baptist won the boys championship with a 52-43 victory over Ringgold.
Bubba Strong led the Cavs with 21 points. Rondae Hill had 17 points and four assists.
LaDaunte McCoy led the Redskins with 17 points. Jbari Adams had 14.
Hill was named tournament MVP. Strong and TJ Jamison made the All-Tournament team.
Ringgold’s Adams and Jordyn Wilson also made the All-Tournament team along with Parkway’s Brhaelyn Brown.
Camden, Ark., defeated Green Oaks 45-37 in the boys consolation finals.
Richwood defeated Loyola 54-16 in the girls consolation final.
