High school basketball: Davis joins 1,000-point club as North Webster girls roll to ninth straight win

Aniyah Davis reached a milestone as North Webster rolled past Haynesville 40-8 for its ninth straight victory Wednesday night at Haynesville.

Davis scored 15 points, which made her a member of the 1,000-point club for her career.

Amiyah White added eight points and Makiyah White had seven.

North Webster improved to 9-1.

Haynesville won the boys game 51-30,

Jasavion Miller led North Webster with 10 points.

Dereon Reese added six and Martavion White five.

Reese had 12 points as the Knights defeated Lakeside 37-20 Tuesday night for their second victory.

Dejuan Coleman scored 10 and Miller eight.
