The Minden Crimson Tide, North Webster Knights and Doyline Panthers all won Thursday.
Minden defeated Weston 9-6 at Griffith Stadium in a game that was part of the Northwood tournament, North Webster downed Union Parish 9-1 in a District 1-3A game in Farmerville and Doyline topped Zwolle 10-4 in the Stanley tournament.
At Minden, seven Minden players combined for seven hits.
Brody Bower and Jaxon Smith had two RBI each. Jakobe Jackson had a double and drew two walks.
Weston jumped out to a 4-0 lead with four in the top of the second.
The Tide scored six in the bottom of the fourth. Minden took advantage of four walks, two hit-by-pitches and singles by Landon Brewer, Landyn Huddleston and Hudson Brown.
The Wolves tied it at 6 with two in the top of sixth.
Minden answered with three in the bottom of the inning. Bray Winston and Bower had singles. Smith brought in the final run with a sacrifice fly.
Zander Rowell went six innings. Bower pitched the seventh.
Minden (10-5) is scheduled to host Many Friday at 6:30 in another Northwood tournament game.
At Union Parish, North Webster’s Preston Ingle went 2-for-3 with a double. Cayden Bernard had a double.
Gerrit Gillentine had three RBI. Colby Dinkins had two RBI. Nathan Bernard got the win.
North Webster (9-6) is scheduled to host Red River Friday at 5:30.
Doyline’s Austin Arbaugh went the distance against Zwolle. He allowed four hits, struck out four and walked one. Arbaugh also had two hits.
Cayden Mingo went 2-for-3. Noah Spears and Dakota Stewart had three RBI each.
Doyline (6-6) is scheduled to play Converse in the tournament Friday at 3:30.
