The Minden Crimson Tide, Lakeside Warriors and Glenbrook Apaches were all winners Tuesday.
Minden defeated Woodlawn 15-0 in three innings in a District 1-4A game at Griffith Stadium. Lakeside downed North Webster 12-2 in six innings at Lakeside. Glenbrook defeated Evangel Christian 4-1 in Shreveport.
Elsewhere, Doyline fell to Quitman 7-1 in the first of a two-game District 1-B series at Quitman.
At Minden, ten Crimson Tide players combined for 14 hits.
Jakobe Jackson went 2-for-2 with a double. Landon Brewer, Brody Bower, Landyn Huddleston and Hudson Brown all had two hits. Jaxon Smith had a double and three RBI.
Huddleston pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk.
Minden (17-7, 2-1) continues district play Wednesday at home against Booker T. Washington at 5:30.
At Lakeside, Jake Glass went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Matthew Aguilera went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Hunter Sutton also went 2-for-3.
Jon Jon Dick and Jordan Isbell each had a double. Eli Campbell had two RBI.
Lakeside starter Sutton allowed two hits in three innings with two strikeouts and one wslk. Aguilera gave up three hits in three innings with three strikeouts and no walks.
North Webster’s Chandler McKenzie went 2-for-2 with an RBI. Preston Ingle had an RBI.
Lakeside (12-11) visits Grant Thursday at 6. North Webster (10-12) hosts Zwolle Thursday at 5.
At Evangel, Easton Sanders gave up just two hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out 12 and walked three.
Glenbrook had six hits. Jackson Waller went 2-for-4. Landry Powell had one hit, one walk and three RBI.
The Apaches (12-9) visit Parkway Friday at 6.
At Quitman, Doyline’s Noah Spears had a triple and double. Cayden Mingo had an RBI.
Doyline (10-10, 2-3) and Quitman (13-8, 3-2) are scheduled to complete the series at Doyline Friday at 6.
The Panthers host Homer Wednesday at 5:30.
