Ochsner Health System partners with United Way for CHNA in Northwest Louisiana

by Minden Press-Herald

Ochsner Health System, in collaboration with the United Way of Northwest Louisiana, is conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to better understand and address the healthcare needs of the region. Kimberly Williams, associate director of Health Initiatives at United Way, highlighted the importance of this assessment, stating, “We would like to ensure that everyone in our region has the chance to make their voice heard.”

The CHNA aims to identify key health priorities and improve healthcare services, particularly for underserved communities. Residents aged 18 and over are encouraged to participate in the survey, which can be accessed via a QR code or link provided in the flyer above. The survey will remain open until May 22, 2024.

Data collected from the survey will be crucial in identifying challenges and developing strategies to enhance healthcare in Northwest Louisiana. By participating in this assessment, residents can play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare in their communities.
