Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC) is proud to announce its selection to participate in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Intermediaries for Scale Initiative (IfS), led by Complete College America (CCA). The project, led by CCA, is called the “Complete College Accelerator.” This five-year initiative will engage NLTCC in efforts to transform its institutional practices to improve student success.
NLTCC recently had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. F. Janelle Hannah Jefferson, Ph.D. (Alliance Engagement Director) and Dr. Akilah Martin, Ed.D. (Strategy Director) from CCA for an all-day training session. Twelve members of NLTCC’s faculty and staff participated in the training, which included an overview of CCA’s Strategic Pillars and Complete College Accelerator Project, breakout discussions to define student success and institutional transformation, strategic planning sessions, and a thorough review of data.
“We are so excited to join the Complete College America team and utilize the resources available through this initiative,” said Kelli Robinson, NLTCC Minden Campus Director and Director of Student Services. “Our goal is to improve student success, and create a lasting positive impact on our college and our students.”
This partnership with CCA is a significant step forward in NLTCC’s commitment to providing quality education and support for students. The college looks forward to collaborating with CCA to create an environment where students can achieve their full potential and succeed in their academic and career goals.
