Bossier Deputies assisted Louisiana State Police Troop G with a fatal crash involving a Bossier Parish  school bus on Friday afternoon at approximately 2:45pm in Plain Dealing. A vehicle struck the rear of  the school bus that was carrying 31 students while it was stopped southbound on La. Highway 3 at  Washington Street. The driver of that vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and a juvenile  passenger was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening. A  student passenger on the school bus was also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Bossier deputies along with BSO School Resource Officers worked with Bossier Schools administrators to  re-unify the remaining students on the bus with their parents/guardians.
