Search Underway for Missing 10-Year-Old in Webster Parish

by Minden Press-Herald

DUBBERLY, LA — Authorities in Webster Parish are conducting a search for 10-year-old Peyton Saintignan, who was reported missing from her home on Magnolia Road in Dubberly late Monday night. This marks the second time Peyton has gone missing; she was previously found safe after a daylong search in September 2024. She was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and yellow shorts.

Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker confirmed that Saintignan was reported missing shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

Law enforcement officers from multiple agencies, including dog tracking teams, are actively searching the wooded areas near her home. Sheriff Parker urged the public to avoid entering the search area to prevent disturbing the tracking dogs’ scent trails.

“We’re using dog tracking teams, and the scent could be disturbed by persons entering the search area,” Parker said.

Anyone with information about Peyton Saintignan’s whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Authorities are continuing their efforts in hopes of locating the missing child as the community remains on alert. For more details on Peyton’s previous disappearance in September, you can visit this link.
