The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) announced that its system is temporarily offline, disrupting key services such as driver’s license processing, vehicle registration, and reinstatement transactions statewide.

The OMV shared the update through its official Facebook page, noting that there is no estimated timeline for when the system will be restored. The outage affects all OMV offices across the state, as well as online service options.

“We appreciate your patience as our vendor works to restore service,” the OMV stated in the post. The agency has committed to providing updates as soon as the system becomes operational again.

Residents who need to complete time-sensitive transactions are encouraged to monitor the OMV’s Facebook page for real-time updates on service restoration.

For more information or inquiries, visit the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles website or contact your local OMV office.
