High school basketball: Doyline boys win; North Webster, Lakeside girls fall

The Doyline boys defeated Providence Classical Academy 69-36 Monday night at Doyline.

The Panthers improved to 16-2.

In boys and girls games, North Webster fell to Homer at Homer. The Pelicans won 55-44 and the Lady Pelicans won 54-45.

In a girls game, Lakeside came up just short against North DeSoto, falling 38-33 at home.

At Homer, eight Lady Knights scored. Nazaria Caldwell and Germaya Harris led North Webster with 13 points each. All of Caldwell’s points came in the second half. Shakyra Hawkins added nine.

Z’Riah Buggs and Marniyah Willis led Homer (3-4) with 16 and 13 points, respectively.

North Webster (7-5) hosts Haynesville Thursday.
